Jag skiter i vad min fru säger

När jag var i London så hade mitt engelska förlag bokat in mig på den där sortens brittiska hotell där en person bär dina väskor och följer med dig hela vägen upp till rummet efter incheckningen. Jag är inte riktigt så jättebra på att bo på den sortens hotell. Jag är dålig på att kallprata i hissen, jag vet aldrig när man ska dricksa, och angående det här med hotellpersonal som följer dig hela vägen till rummet så hävdar jag med bestämdhet att det bara finns två sorters människor:

1. De som blir förbannade för att det känns som att personalen bara följer med dig för att de är rädda att du ska stjäla något på vägen.

2. De som tar för givet att personalen följer med dig till rummet för att de tänker döda dig.

Jag är kategori 2. Jag skäms inte för det.

Min fru hävdar bestämt att det finns en ”kategori 3” som består av ”normala friska människor”, men det är också därför jag alltid låter henne gå in först i alla hotellrum när vi reser tillsammans.

Ifall det finns fällor.

  1. Helt rätt tänkt! Det är av denna anledning män är så artiga och öppnar dörren för oss kvinnor. Det är för att vi ska gå in i huset/rummet först och ta smällen från den våldsverkare, som eventuellt står gömd och drämmer ett svärd eller en yxa i huvudet på den, som går in först. Har sitt ursprung från vikingatiden. Det beteendet sitter uppenbarligen djupt rotat hos dig. 🙂
