Men nu har vi varit en timme i maskeradklädesbutiken, och sen var vi en timme i leksaksbutiken, och sen stod vi fyrtiofem minuter i kön till ansiktssminket i köpcentrumet. Och resultatet av det är att min son är en katt, min dotter är Spider-Man, min fru är en leopard och jag är hungrig.

Jag har föreslagit att jag inför festen ikväll kanske kan få klä ut mig till ett blodsockerfall och bara stanna i bilen och äta munkar, men mina barn säger att det inte räknas.
