Nå. Det är den tiden på året nu när min familj och jag ska resa på semester. Det är alltså ingen speciell tid på året, vi åker inte på semester samma tid varje år, det råkar bara finnas en tid på året när vi åker på semester och i år råkar det vara den här tiden. Men hur som helst. Tid är det. Nu.

Min fru har organiserat våra resväskor och med faktiskt ganska onödigt beslutsam ton påpekat för mig att jag INTE får ta med mig någon skrivmaskin och MAX får packa ner en keps.

Det är möjligt att det var att beskriva som en överreaktion när jag skrek tillbaka att hon i så fall bara fick ta med sig ett barn.

Men vi har i alla fall enats nu om att jag får ta med mig två, under förutsättning att jag lovar att ha den ena på mig på planet och checka in den andra. Jag borde, så här i efterhand, ha stannat där. Quit while you’re ahead, så att säga. Men nu började jag googla måtten på såna där kattburar för att se om vårt ena barn hade rymts i en sån, och nu har tydligen hela min familj haft ett möte utan mig och bestämt att de ska åka på semester med ”sin nya pappa”.
