Oavsett vad frågan är så tänker jag svara ”when in Rome!”

Min fru fyller traditionsenligt ungefär 22 år som vanligt vid den här tiden varje år, och just i år firar vi födelsedagen i Rom. Bara vi två. Utan barnen. I två nätter. För första gången på fem år.

Förstås härligt. Bara vi. Vårda äktenskapet. Umgås.

Så min fru somnade på flyget. Hon vaknade av att jag råkade spilla öl på och ganska mycket i hennes nya skor. Som hon händelsevis hade sina fötter i just då. Sen hade vi ett stort bråk.

Sett lite såhär i efterhand kan jag vara självkritisk och konstatera att jag kanske borde ha valt en annan strategi just precis efter att jag hade spillt ölen och väckt henne än att omedelbart skrika ”JAMEN DU DÅ KUL DU ÄR SOM SOMNAR DIREKT NÄR VI LYFTER HIMLA KUL RESESÄLLSKAP DU ÄR LIKSOM”.

Med lite perspektiv på alltihop så kan jag absolut känna att bråket som följde delvis var mitt fel.

Jag är säker på att min psykolog när jag kommer tillbaka till Sverige kommer kalla mina insikter ”framsteg”.

Jag är inte helt och hållet säker på att min fru kommer kalla det samma sak. Jag är inte helt säker på att hon kommer presentera mig som ”min man” heller, om jag ska vara helt ärlig.

Men det positiva är i alla fall att alla säger att när man reser iväg tillsammans utan barnen så är det jättejätteviktigt att ”prata med varandra om andra saker än barnen”.
