Kort klargörande

I taggen till förra i inlägget nämnde jag att jag hade strumpor och sandaler på mig under min semester. Detta bemöttes av en del kritik och två delar rena påhopp i andra sociala medier där länken till detta inlägg förekom. För man får tydligen inte ha ”strumpor i sina sandaler” utan att vara en ”gubbe”.

Jag vill därför bara kort, klart och tydligt fastställa att jg inte har strumpor i mina sandaler.

Det är mycket mer som att jag har sandaler runt mina strumpor.

Det var faktiskt 28 grader i Rom, men typ 15 inne på muséerna. Jag blir varm när jag går men kall när jag står still. Mina fötter skiftar väldigt snabbt i temperatur. Jag behöver alternativ. Only God can judge me.

Dessutom säger min fru att ”det är ju inte direkt strumporna som är problemet utan personen inuti dem”. Jag vet inte exakt vad hon vill ha sagt med det men jag tolkar det som att hon försvarar mina estetiska val. Strumpor är det nya grunge.

Hon gick visserligen ganska långt före mig under den guidade turen inne i Vatikanstaten och sa till guiden att hon var i sällskap med den amerikanska familjen framför oss men det kan ju ha berott på vad som helst. Jag körde till exempel ”inte gå på skarvarna” på mosaikgolvet på vägen in. Det kan mycket väl ha berott på det. Eller på att jag gick ut i mitten av gatan utanför vårt hotell på morgonen och vinkade in en taxi, och så visade det sig att det var en polisbil.

Nu när jag tänker efter börjar jag eventuellt förstå vad hon menade med ”problemet”.

  2. För mig väcker strumpor i sandaler tanken på tysk turist. Men inte sagt att tyska turister är gubbiga. Min man hade strumpor i loafers, korta shorts och typ Hawaiiskjorta när vi träffades och trots det har vi nu levt tillsammans i 13år och har tre barn. Enda negativa är att han envisas med att köpa mörk choklad.

    Men absolut inte vita tubsockor i sandaler, till shorts!

  10. Skulle säga att problemet är sandalerna i sig. Spelar ingen roll med eller utan strumpor det är lika illa.
