Ett av mina barn har börjat spela fotboll. Och eftersom det nu precis har blivit det väder i Stockholm som stockholmare kallar ”kallt” och människor en aning längre norrut kallar ”rumstemperatur” har barnens lag börjat träna fotbollen inomhus.

Eftersom det är 20 barn i gruppen, och 40 föräldrar inte får plats i samma lilla gymnastiksal, beslutade tränarna igår att föräldrarna behövde gå och sätta sig i omklädningsrummet och vänta under träningen. Det fanns inga fönster där, det var ganska kallt och lamporna fungerade inte. Det fanns ingen mobiltäckning.

Jag förstår givetvis att tränarna bara bad oss sätta oss där på grund av utrymmesskäl. Jag tog det givetvis inte alls personligt.

Men ändå.

Det var söndag eftermiddag. Solen sken ute. Vi satt i det där fönsterlösa omklädningsrummet på varsin hård träbänk i en timme och väntade på att våra barn skulle sluta ha roligt på andra sidan väggen.

Och det kändes LITE just precis då som att tränarna lika gärna hade kunnat säga: ”Här kan ni sitta. Och fundera över era livsval.”
